What do people ask before ordering custom shirts?
Mostly five things: whether there is a minimum (no), what a shirt costs, what file to upload, how long it takes (7-12 business days door to door after a proof that arrives within 24 hours), and how to track it. Every answer on this page is written so the first sentence stands on its own.
Ordering
Is there a minimum order for custom t-shirts?

No. One shirt is $19.95. The price drops at 12, 24, 50, 100 and 250.
How do I order custom shirts online?

Pick a shirt, upload your logo or type some text, enter your sizes and check out. We email you a proof before we print.
Can I mix sizes in one order?

Yes. All sizes on one design count toward the same price break. 2XL and up cost a little more, shown next to the size box.
Can I order different designs in one order?

Yes. Finish one design, choose "Save and add another", and start the next. Each design is priced by its own quantity.
Do I need an account to order?

Not to design. At checkout you set an email and password. That is how you get your proof, tracking and reorders.
Pricing
How much do custom t-shirts cost?

A Classic Cotton Tee with a front print is $19.95 for a single shirt, $11.45 a shirt at 24, and $7.45 a shirt at 250+. Hoodies and sweatshirts have their own tables on the pricing page. No setup fees.
How much does a back print add?

$5.00 a shirt on small orders, down to $2.75 at 100 or more. Text and a logo on the same side count as one side.
Are there setup fees or screen charges?

No. The per-shirt price includes printing and the proof. You only add shipping, and rush if you choose it.
Do you offer bulk discounts on custom shirts?

Yes, automatically. The price drops at 12, 24, 50, 100 and 250. At 24 we switch to screen printing, which is why it drops the most there.
Artwork and proofs
What file types can I upload for my design?

PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG, plus PDF, EPS, AI, PSD and TIFF, up to 40 MB. A PNG with a transparent background or a vector file prints best. The studio cannot show a preview of a PDF, AI, EPS, PSD or TIFF file, but it is attached to your order and your proof shows the real artwork.
Do I get to see a proof before printing?

Yes, always. We email a proof within 24 hours of your order. Nothing prints until you approve it, and changes are free until then.
Can you match my brand colors?

On orders of 24 or more, yes. Put the Pantone codes in the order notes. Smaller orders print the colors in your file, which come close to what you see on screen.
How big can the print be?

Up to 12" x 16" on tees and sweatshirts. Hoodie fronts are 11" x 10" because of the pocket, and hoodie backs are 12" x 16". The dashed box in the studio is the print area.
Printing and quality
Do you use screen printing or direct-to-garment printing?

Both. Under 24 shirts we print direct-to-garment, which handles photos and many colors. At 24 or more we screen print, which gives the boldest color and the lowest price.
Will the print fade or crack?

Not with normal care. Wash inside out in cold water and skip high heat in the dryer. The print should outlast the shirt.
What shirts do you print on?

Four: Classic Cotton Tee, Premium Soft Tee, Pullover Hoodie, Crewneck Sweatshirt, in up to 14 colors. Each product page lists the fabric and weight.
Shipping and tracking
How long do custom t-shirts take?

Standard orders take 7-12 business days door to door. Rush takes 5 business days door to door. The clock starts when you approve the proof.
How much is shipping?

Free on orders over $150, $9.95 below that. Rush costs extra and is shown before you pay.
How fast can I get custom shirts?
+
Rush custom shirts are 5 business days door to door: 3 business days to print plus 2 to ship, for 20% of the subtotal with a $25.00 minimum. Standard is 7-12 business days door to door. Both count from the moment you approve the proof.
Can I track my order?

Yes. We email a tracking number when it ships. You can also look it up on the track page with your order number and email.
Do you ship outside the United States?

Not through the website yet. Contact us with the destination and quantity and we will quote it.
Payment, returns and business orders
How do I pay?

By card at checkout. Need an invoice or purchase order? Contact us and we will send an invoice with a payment link.
What if my shirts arrive wrong or damaged?
+
We reprint or refund misprints, wrong sizes we caused and damaged goods. Email a photo within 14 days. We cannot take returns for a change of mind, so check the proof carefully.
Can I reorder the same shirts later?

Yes. Every design is saved to your account. Open the old order, click Reorder, set the new sizes and check out.
Do you work with small businesses and startups?

Yes, that is most of our orders. Staff shirts, launch merch, event tees and uniforms, with no minimums and invoices on request.
